This is going to be a hair care type post with Castor Oil. I love using castor oil - it is probably the best oil I have found that works so good for anybody and for just help the health of your hair basically. I know some are still stuck on that whole coconut oil trend, but you need to combine and try other oils that have great benefits and help with hair growth.
I will show you step by step, how I use it, the benefits of the oil and you will see a huge difference - you'll be like “Oh my gosh, I can feel the difference in my hair!” I love this and I hope I can make you love it too.
If you do have any other questions at all, comment down below and let me know in case you got a little confused or if I didn't touch base on something in this post.
So, grab your castor oil, grab a spoon and a bowl and let's get started - we're going to need 3 tablespoons of castor oil - just put that right in a bowl, it's usually easier to do it. I go ahead and start by parting my hair off - I like to section my hair off basically just to kind of help with clean parting so that way each hair gets distributed with oil nice and easily. I'm just warm it up in my hand and run it through my hair. I like to go starting from the roots to the ends just because I think it's better that way and I don't think you should avoid certain parts of your head. I think it should go everywhere because it's such an amazing oil. To really get it in your scalp and hair nice and thoroughly and make sure it is evenly distributed, you can twist your hair or you can comb it out with a wooden comb if you want to. After I distribute the oil nice and evenly through each section, I will go ahead and get myself a scalp massage.
Castor oil actually helps promote hair growth and it also helps to treat any scalp infection. If you have like scalp psoriasis or dry scalp, a sensitive scalp, this will help you a lot. I've seen a huge difference in the way my scalp feels, the way my head feels, so if you have any conditions - of course, consult your doctor first, if maybe you have allergies to this, but I will say it has helped me a lot. Definitely, give it a go.
Some other little fun facts about castor oil - it also helps prevent premature greying and it will help condition your hair. You will feel this after you rinse it out in the shower and you'll be like “Holy cow, my hair feels so soft!” You can also use it on your skin, it helps fade any blemishes and moisturizes your skin, it reduces acne, and prevent stretch marks. It also reduces any pigmentation that you may have as well.
As far as hair growth goes, this is the best option in my opinion. If you're suffering from hair loss or even like postpartum alopecia after having a baby, this stuff will save you. I love it for helping with split ends, and dandruff or if you have a dry scalp. It's just a great product.
But the reason for being that great is - it does have six fatty acids in it, minerals, and proteins as well as vitamin E. It's all the things that our body tends to lack, or our hair tends to lack and lose going through any damage.
After spreading the oil into my hair, I will just go ahead and sleep with it in my hair and then the next morning I will rinse it out. I actually shampoo twice, I always shampoo twice whether there's an oil in my hair or not. I will always do it twice - I just think that you get a better clean that way and you get everything out so you won't have any build-up remaining on your hair especially if you go a long time without washing. I'm just going to condition from my mid-shaft to end with the conditioner and rinse it out and I will be good to go. I don't really need to condition too long because we did do the castor oil treatment so you do have a really good deep condition already.
I hope you all enjoyed it - comment down below once you try it out and just let me know how it worked out for you and what you think about this great oil.
